I am a Software Engineer II in the National Security Directorate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
I currently work with the Department of Homeland Security and the Transportation Security Administration to improve security and throughput at our borders.

I have a B.S. in Computer Science with a specialization in Intelligent Systems from the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences at UC Irvine.
During my time at UC Irvine, I was an active member in research and mentoring students for undergraduate Computer Science classes.

for simulating patent protection.

As an iPhone Quality Engineer Intern, I worked on compiling and analyzing large amounts of iPhone Failure Analysis data.
I experimented with different means of visualization, presented on data trends, and proposed further avenues of exploration.
Within my 7 month internship, I built 2 data visualization GUI applications and optimized a parsing/visualization task that took 10 minutes using internal tools down to 5 seconds with my Python script.

As a Learning Assistant at UC Irvine, I held office hours to answer students questions and promote discussion during lectures and discussion.
I have worked for professor Sandy Irani’s ICS 6D Discrete Mathematics course in spring 2020 and professor Shannon Alfaro’s ICS 31 Introduction to Programming course in winter and spring of 2021.

I worked as a mentor at AppJam+ to teach the core fundamentals of programming through mobile applications to students in the Orange County district. I managed a group of 30 middle school students, maintaining a schedule for their projects from conception to completion.

The Green Initiative Fund (TGIF) is a student run funding board to empower undergraduate students with the financial resources to launch projects for sustainable causes.
As a commissioner for TGIF, I helped with running and recording board meetings to decide which projects to fund.
I also managed the projects that were approved by the board.
